What language courses are available?
We offer online Spanish courses through MOVE Language. Additional language services are available at your request including English, Portuguese and Italian. Want more info about our language services beyond Spanish? Contact us today.
How do I enroll in a course?
If you already know what course you'd like to take, go to the Programs menu, select your preferred course and click the button to enroll.
How do I enroll in a single class?
We do not offer single class sessions. Upon enrollment in a course, you'll be automatically placed in all class sessions for it.
Can I enroll others, like my children?
At this time, we only offer courses for adults. Registration cannot be completed for another person because it is based on your individual speaking level.
Can I enroll in more than one course?
Yes you can, but we generally recommend that you focus on your efforts on a single course. However, should you choose to do multiple courses, we do have different times available to avoid double scheduling.
If you’d like to do multiple courses, here's a few examples of how we would recommend to do so:
If you have an advanced level of grammar that needs to revisit and limited speaking abilities: Enroll in Refresh to start and then Talk after you are half way on Refresh classes.
If you’re advanced in both grammar and speaking, but need help with your pronunciation: Enroll in Talk and then Discourse after several Talk classes.

When can I enroll in a course?
You can enroll a course at any time prior to its start. The course description will outline the last date that you may sign up.
When can I enroll in a single class?
Single classes are not available. Instead, once you've sign up for a course, you're automatically enrolled in all of the classes for it. This allows students and professors to follow a specific plan and work towards clear objectives.
Can I enroll in a course after it has already begun?
It is not possible. To check and enroll what courses that are currently available, go to Programs and select any 'Upcoming' course. You can only enroll in a class maximum 48hrs prior to courses' start date.
How far in advance can I sign up for a course?
You can enroll to courses while they are available/upcoming. All courses will be open for enrolling until 48 hours before the start of the first class.
I was homeschooled and studied Spanish. Is MOVE right for me?
Yes. Regardless of what curriculum you’ve followed, if you need to learn or at one point learned and understood Spanish grammar to some degree, we can tailor a course for you. Take our assessment first to find out what we recommend for your level or contact us.
I’m self-taught in Spanish. Will MOVE work for me?
Can I drop a course?
Yes, you can drop a course at any time.
If you decide to cancel within 24 hours of your first class ending and we’ll give you a full refund; no questions asked. If you complete a few classes and then decide it’s not for you, we’re happy to refund you for those sessions that remain. Questions? Feel free to drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
However, before doing so we recommend that you contact us so that we can work with you to find a solution.
Can I cancel a single class?
Classes follow a set schedule, so while it's up to you to choose whether or not to attend, we aren't able to 'cancel' a single class. We recommend attending as many classes as possible, no less than 75%. Should you miss a class, the content won't be repeated and you'll need to study outside of class time to catch up.
What happens if MOVE cancels a course?
In the case that MOVE has to cancel a course, you'll be offered a new course or the option to cancel as well.

Can I change courses?
Because classes build on each other, we only accept changes prior to the start of your 2nd class. Please send a request for change if still 2nd class was not delivered, to our Student Support team.
How experienced are MOVE professors?
All professors must have at least +7 years of teaching experience. They are native Spanish speakers and meet our strict guidelines for quality and expertise. Please visit our Why Us page to learn more about what we look for in a professor and what you can expect from working with us.
What is your teaching method?
Our proprietary method is based on a combination of practical theory, Spanish literature and our experience teaching languages. Based on this, we created our unique speaking-intensive structure, content, and practices to provide the ideal language learning process.
Do I need to buy books or textbooks?
Instructions about book and resources will be provided prior to the start of the course. Also, during the classes, your professor will make recommendations for materials to support your learning journey, but you’re not required to purchase or rent books as part of the course.
How is MOVE different from Spanish taught in schools?
There are a number of similiarities between MOVE and your standard classroom experience. One of the biggest is that both methods are lead by a teacher (or professor), follow a structured program, set goals, and have clear start and end dates. The difference is that we are deeply focused on speaking fluency, not 'teaching for the test'.
Do you provide college credits?
We are currently unable to provide formal college credits for our courses. You'll receive a certificate of completion at the end of our courses.
Are courses graded?
We will provide formal feedback and make clear recommendations for how you can improve.

What if I can't attend all the classes for a course I'm enrolled in?
It's up to you how many classes you attend. In the course description, you'll see what our minimum attendance recommendation is. If you are unable to meet the minimum of 75% attendance, we recommend either additional time for self study or enrolling in a new course.
What if I change my mind after enrollment and would like to cancel or switch to another course?
You can cancel your course at any time. However, transferring into a different course is not allowed after the 2nd class started.
If you choose to cancel and want a refund, please read below carefully.
Important: A full refund of the Course fee will be processed if you: 1) file a request for cancellation to our Student Support team, and 2) cancellation request is received 24 hours after the release of the first class of your Course. No refunds will be accepted after 24hours of the completion of the first class of any given course.
How important is attendance?
Attendance is crucial to your success. For all courses it is recommended a minimum of 75% classes that you should attend. Learning a language takes commitment, so please be prepared to prioritize your learning and class time. This will enable you to see the most progress in your Spanish speaking abilities.

What will be expected of me?
After enrolling, you are expected to receive a Welcome email and prepare for the course to start.
While enrolling you accepted the Code of Honor and Ethics (CH&E) that you’ll receive again in the Welcome email, prior to starting of the course. Please read it once more before the first class starts.

You AGREE TO:
- Accept our CH&E and embody the values of respect and professionalism contained within it.
- Commit to the learning journey and always put forth your best effort.
- Be cooperative and respectful to professors and classmates.
- Be open to collaborate, provide, and receive feedback.
- Come to class on time, pay attention to your professor and assignments, stay focused, and avoid interruptions to the best of your ability.
- Inform us via Customer Support about any violations to the CH&E.
You AGREE NOT to:
- Use offensive language.
- Act in an offensive or discriminatory manner.
- Share, load, or post inappropriate, offensive or illegal information or content, in the course, on our site or in our support tools.
- Request or share personal information with your professor or peers during class time.
- Share or publicize course contents.
- Share peers and professors’ personal information including names or otherwise, or any information shared during the class.
- Contact peers, professors, or the Move team outside of acceptable channels and topics.
- Enroll others in courses.
- Share your access to the course or invite others to your classes.
- Register on behalf of another person or share your login information with others.
How do classes work?
After enrolling, you'll receive a 'welcome' email within 48 hours instructing you on what to expect and next steps. In your first class, your professor will walk you through the structure of the course and expectations for it. Classes will have a combination of theory and practice. The ratio between theory and practice will depend on which course you take.
